3:4. కావలివాళ్లను దాటిన వెంటనే నేను ప్రేమించిన వ్యక్తిని కనుక్కున్నాను! అతణ్ణి పట్టుకున్నాను. అతణ్ణి పోనివ్వలేదు, నా తల్లి ఇంటికి అతణ్ణి తీసుకొని పోయేవరకూ నన్ను కన్న తల్లి గదికి తీసుకొని పోయేవరకూ.

3:4. నేను వారిని విడిచి కొంచెము దూరము పోగా నా ప్రాణప్రియుడు నాకెదురుపడెను వదలిపెట్టక నేనతని పట్టుకొంటిని నా తల్లి యింటికతని తోడుకొని వచ్చితిని నన్ను కనినదాని యరలోనికి తోడుకొని వచ్చితిని.

3:4. Scarcely had I passed them by when I found my beloved! I held onto him tightly and would not let him go until I brought him to my mother's house, to the bedroom chamber of the one who conceived me.

3:4. Then scarcely had I left them when I found my love! I caught and held him tightly, then I brought him to my mother's house, into my mother's bed, where I had been conceived.
